Fifi L’Amour

Fifi Chubard was born in a small wining town called Vezelay in the French countryside. Her family owned a decent sized estate and Fifi and her mother would grow grapes, smash them and ferment them every day, giving the family a nice income. People would come for miles to taste the Chubard’s reserve wines, and one day a man, disguised as a wine taster, went up to her father and shot him in the head. Fifi and her mother later found out the man was an assassin and her father had been a French Secret Agent all of her life. She was saddened by her father’s death and confused by his alter ego, so on her 16th birthday Fifi left her mother to make wine in peace while Fifi set out to seek revenge for her father’s death and infiltrate the secret operation he worked for. Since she was also a cattle herder on her family’s estate, all she took for protection was her whip.

Over the next five years, Fifi became the most infamous deadly assassin for the French Secret Service. Their operation was aptly named; Revanche, the French word for revenge. Fifi hunted the man who killed her father. After a rather bloody whipping, the assassin begged her to stop and said that all he wanted was to get out of the killing business. In fact, he told her, her father had murdered his son on assignment and as his last job, he took revenge on his son’s murderer. Hearing this, Fifi realized all the pain she had caused, only to fight for a man who was just as murderous as the ones she swore to kill. Fifi left the assassin alive and decided to drop her whip forever.

Fifi traveled to America around her 21st birthday. Settling in a hostel in San Diego California, she met a handsome and slightly smelly juggler named Van Dan. She immediately shacked up with him and they traveled back to his home in Flagstaff, Arizona. She met the other members of Circus Bacchus and they quickly embraced her as one of their own. Her whip stayed hidden away in her suitcase until one day, after drinking wine with her friends and remembering her cherished days on the French countryside, she took it out and showed it to the rest of the circus. She was then known as Fifi L’Amour and named her whip Revanche, in honor of her own double life. She now performs as a whip artist and Burlesque dancer in Circus Bacchus and plans to for a long time. She has not killed anyone in 3 years and is staying strong.
