Circus Bacchus

Dan’s circus adventues began in the sleepy mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona. Unfulfilled by his mundane life as a full time student, Dan dropped out of school to travel and explore. He hadn’t gone far when, in sunny San Diego, Dan, by chance or fate, ran across the Continental United States’ best street performer, the one and only Streetshow Keith. Dan was living out of his minivan when Streetshow moved in and it was during their short travels together that Streetshow Keith began calling the wanderer Van Dan. The name has stuck and since that first taste of performing, Van Dan has dived headfirst into the circus world, training his body to accomplish various feats of juggling, balance, and fire performance.

His travels and training took him full circle back to Flagstaff, where in the winter of 2007, he helped found Circus Bacchus. Since then, he has found himself consistently based out of Flagstaff where he continues to train and perform with Northern Arizona’s finest performers.
